The SOS that Never Was…
Hurricane Florence came through NC and SC September 14 and decided to hang around a couple days and dump tons of water on our beautiful states. Our own North Myrtle Beach became an Island as we were surrounded by water. Many homes in surrounding areas were nearly covered with water. Flo did very little damage to our Ocean Drive area. We were blessed. SOS was canceled so that our SOS’ers would not get in harms way trying to reach us.

Happy Spring from Ocean Drive, North Myrtle Beach. As some of you are aware I have retired from my brick and mortar business on Main Street. You may experience some changes on Main Street this year as Milford and I have decided to retire our “Good Old Days” as proprietors and enjoy them as participants.

On Facebook I posted that it was the last days for Beach Memories on October 14, 2017. I got a lots of wonderful responses! My favorite was from a long time friend from my hometown, David Post.
