“Dancing with Angels” The Fall S.O.S. 2000 PRINT IS DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF HARRY DRIVER 1931-1998

“I met Harry sometime in the mid 1980’2 at Fat Harold’s on the oceanfront where the O.D. Café is now. He was one of the first customers to buy one of my hand colored Pad prints. At the time, I did not know he was already a legend in the shagging world. From that day on until his death, Harry always got number ONE of my S.O.S. Official Prints.

He’d call or come by and say, “go ahead and frame it the way you would for yourself”. He’d always pay up front even though he may not be back to pick it up for months. He said that someday he was going to donate the prints to the Shagger’s Hall of Fame Museum.

Harry was more than a Shagger. He was always a gentleman and had the most delightful smile! Harry had so many, many fine qualities, I couldn’t begin to list all of them. My only regret is, I never told him while he was alive.

So, Harry, I now you’re in Heaven Dancing with the Angels. I miss you and I hope to join you there someday. “
